What is a fresh UHT Milk?
UHT milk is 100% pure milk.
UHT milk is pasteurized through high temperature (140C) for several seconds to kill most of the bacteria and vacuum packed, so it can store in room temperature for several months, but it should be refrigerated after opening.
What is Milk Beverage?
Milk Beverage are not 100% pure milk.
It contains a certain percentage of pure milk with milk powder and other components.
Inspection and Identification Process
Each batch of milk products (whether fresh milk, UHT milk or milk drinks) must be inspected and approved by the Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to ensure compliance with certain safety standards and the bacterial content at an acceptable level.
For example, if milk cows reared in farm with the withdrawal of the banned pesticides (eg: DDT (DDT), polychlorinated biphenyls this (PCB)), the milk may contain the banned pesticides. After laboratory tests if the pesticide content in the milk exceeds the acceptable level, the entire batch of milk will be seized and destroyed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department in Hong Kong.
Almost all of the local milk products are produced in China.
Inappropriate and harmful chemical pesticides have been banned in the United States for more than two decades. The U.S. government strictly regulates the milk production, the public and milk product manufacturers also have high requirements in milk products.
"Gossner" UHT milk is a milk product imported from the United States by our company, in addition to the above-described heat treatment, vitamins A and D are also added into the “Gossner” UHT milk. It is guaranteed to be a very healthy milk product.
